The Puppy School
If you are reading this it is quite likely you are the owner of a puppy, so firstly, congratulations on your new companion! At Chelmsford & Margaretting Dog Training & Puppy School we know the joy and excitement this brings but know there can be a few challenges along the way!
We are delighted to meet new puppies and their owners at our friendly club and we love to help you on your journey together. Our moto is every step of the way “Encourage not discourage”.
The first 12 months of a dogs life are hugely important if you want to get things right start with a Puppy Training Course to build a solid foundation for your pups future.
These classes will put you and your pup on the same page. You’ll learn how to use positive reinforcement training to teach your dog how you want them to behave and practise gentle but effective ways to correct when they don’t. You’ll also learn how to avoid future behaviour problems and have plenty of fun in the process!

Our Puppy Training Course is suitable from 8 weeks.
At the end of your puppy school you and your furry friend will be tested and receive a certificate and rosette! Don't worry you won't be put through your test until you're both ready.
We teach 'The Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme' in all of our classes.
